"Project: Add a landing and set of stairs to an existing deck We worked with a number of contractors to get ideas and quotes for this project. We made the decision to go with Hoyer Construction for the following reasons: 1. Hoyer was able to perform all aspects of the project from start to finish including handling the building permit and inspections. This was a major factor for us as I've done this myself before and it is an extremely tedious process 2. Reputation: We performed a great deal of research and only found positive feedback and results for Hoyer 3. Price: Hoyer's quote was very competitive. They were actually lower than some of the quotes from non-licensed contractors 4. Design: Hoyer worked with us, listened to our ideas, and then presented proposals and quotes for two of the most feasible options. "We had a great experience! Our gutters were leaking over our front door and it was always icy. Ryan gave us 2 options, put in an extra down spout and replace gutters with the same size or larger seamless gutters with larger downspouts. Since our gutters were leaking at the seams we chose the seamless option. They were out the next week to do the job on Monday. "Hired Hoyer Construction to build a 30' x 36' garage this last fall in the back of my property. Ben Hoyer discussed the project with me and addressed all my questions as the project progressed. Mr. Hoyer also was extremely flexible in making changes that I requested and was able to accommodate all those requests. Hoyer Construction handled the entire project from permitting to final siding and trim work. Over the course of the previous 3 years, I had several estimates and plans by different contractors for this project. Kyle was with us literally every step of the way, from talking with the adjuster the first day, to helping pick out siding and roof color, to making sure it was all covered by insurance, to the final installation. "We asked Ben Hoyer to give us a quote back in early October 2020, before the worst of the COVID-19 breakout. Ben gave us a solid price that was right inline with what wanted. We liked Ben from the get go and so signed a contract later in the year. They started demolishing the old garage in the first part of May, and we had a usable new garage within 3 and a half weeks. We can do not less than give them the 5 stars they deserve. The professionalism shown by Hoyer Construction from the very beginning to the end was outstanding. The resulting garage and tuck-under (Ben's great design) gave us the 2-car cover we were looking for without destroying the enjoyment of our backyard. Despite the skyrocketing rise in cost of materials and sub-trades, Ben stuck to the agreed upon price right down to the penny. We are VERY, VERY HAPPY!"

We called several roofing companies and no one called us back except Hoyer. They came out the very next day and did an estimate. "We had a large deck that was 38 years old and needed to be replaced. I contacted Hoyer and Mike came to see what we wanted and to give us an estimate. After presenting our options and discussing our wants Mike got back to us in a timely manner. The price was very competitive ( we had 4 estimates) and they could start pretty much right away. From the start (removing the old boards and railings) to completion took only 3 days. Communication was unbelievable as there were a few things that needed to be discussed after the old deck was off. I never was left to wonder what was happening. The crew worked very efficiently, politely, and were very respectful of our property. At the end of each day my yard was left very clean. My deck was surrounded by Hostas and truthfully, I was expecting them to be destroyed. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that they were still as good after as before.
